1981 Boston Whaler Montauk Boat in Bismarck, ND

1981 Boston Whaler Montauk.I have owned this Montauk since 1986. Boat was re-gelcoated inside and out 12 years ago. Exterior is in pristine condition, inside shows the usual minor deck spider cracks found on Whalers. In front of the console is a 3/4 thick Marine Tough deck that is removeable and folds open to allow access below it for tons of extra storage. The deck creates a large platform to fish from or set deck chairs on to relax in the sun. Being Marine Tough, it is care free, strong and easy to keep clean. The front hatch door is also Marine tough. The captains chair is also made from 3/4 Marine Tough. It adjusts to face forward or back and hides the two 12 gallon fuel tanks below. Below the console is an additional 12 gallon fuel tank for 36 gallons total. On the back of the boat is an aluminium, adjustable kicker motor bracket on one side and a stainless and Marine Tough swim platform on the other side. Console has a stereo, don't know if it still works and it is wired to speakers up front. Speakers were new two years ago. Fish finder is old and does not work any longer. Console has a GPS that runs on batteries. Can be plugged into main power with a new connector. Compass needs replacing. Boat has a stand up bimini top. The cover for the top is torn but the bimini is fine. Powered by a 125 Force motor. Boat has not been in the water for two years so motor probably needs a tune up. Ran fine last time it was out. Has stainless prop and spare. Trailer is a Trail Right built for this boat. Bunks are made to drive the boat on for loading and the bunks are set-up to be able to sling the boat if necessary. Tires are in great shape with 90% of tread remaining. No spare. Stainless railings are dent and bend free and the railing around the console has welded joints and is super strong to hang onto. Rub rail is in great shape also. Look at the pictures! Great boat.
